    Asked a staff member to plug in some speakers so I could hear them. He flapped around for 15 minutes and then finally returned, saying sorry I can’t help you, I can’t find a cable.

    Absolutely superb service! I went in looking to buy a $50 portable radio and was kindly greeted by a handsome young whippersnaper called Ben. His knowledge about portable radios was absolutely incredible. I ended up being a little cheeky and purchasing not one.. but TWO portable radios! If you ever need to buy a portable radio make sure to ask for Ben! What a cutie pie.

    Called up the store at 9 am Saturday morning. Spoke to Joe re product I wanted to get. Was assured it was in stock and that one would be put aside for me. Went to the store with two small kids. Parking is horrible, busy unbelievably busy. It turns out Joe did not put one aside for me and that there is no stock of What I needed. What a joke, and what's waste of a Saturday. We spend thousands in the store, but this experience will result in taking my business elsewhere. The young ones have no clue in customer service.

    Had a helpful interaction with staff regarding a HDMI cable the other day as am new to the online streaming world. They don't have a massive range but it's OK. However their security guards at the front door need to do something about their deodorant (or lack of it and/or personal hygiene). A stinking waft of very offensive BO greeted me entering and leaving the store. It's air-conditioned and inside a shopping mall. Visit the chemist and buy some deodorant you grubs.

    It would be one star if not for the staff, who I have always found to be helpful. Sadly, this store has gone from having a great range of music, well selected to suit the market of the area, to now having to order in 75% of the new releases I seek. I know the music allocation is not done at a store level, and head office are showing themselves to be totally incompetent

    The same day I was shopping for a new TV. One of the staff members helpfully described all the features and specs and when I tried to buy the item I was told it was sold out, and invited to pre-pay for the item (!) while they sourced a back order which was estimated at 2 weeks.

    If you can put up with the tragically hip and surly staff with asymmetrical haircuts and sleeve tattoos, then you’re more patient than me.

    Hot tip JB-HI : when hiring, maybe you should put customer service skills and common sense ahead of being a production-line hipster with questionable competence.
