    This is a great place in NSW. Possibly the best.

    The entire Hornsby Shire Council has pollution levels worse than Beijing during Winter since the council is in bed with the AHHA and won't stop wood smoke pollution. I highly recommend moving elsewhere.

    This council should be abolished. It's full of staff from the subcontinent who have paid for their degrees.Their fire permits are unworkable. The building engineers are untrained and will cost you a fortune if you build in council area. The Roads department is so dumb that they want to close a road that was build by hand 180 years ago because they cant fix it. Suggest HSC be sacked immediately.

    On the odd occasion I have had reason to call I do not find the staff helpful, at all. Also; not impressed with the lack of response for cutting trees in the street back.It took 3 requests despite the fact it was a safet concorn for visibility.

    In the Beecroft area the waste trucks come around at 5am and make a horrendous noise. Am now selling up and moving to a quieter area.
